OMIGOD - Legally Blonde’s in London

The feel-good Broadway hit musical comedy based on the 2001 film, Legally Blonde, has arrived in London’s West End at the Savoy Theatre.

Stage Technologies rentals department has installed automation for 19 axes using the same combination of Acrobat and Maxis control that was behind the stage engineering of the popular West End production of The Sound of Music. The automated axes include stage tracks, sliders, a stage lift, counterweight assists and a sliding portal used to focus the audience's attention on a particular event or action.

The press week started yesterday and the show is expected to be a huge success, with even the Financial Times joining in the chorus of great reviews: ‘This musical is so packed with pleasures it should be called illegally blonde!'
